Game modes
Free-for-all (FFA)
Every player for themselves, up to 8 players. Round ends at 30 kills or after 3 minutes.
Team deathmatch (TDM)
Blue vs Red up to 5v5, 60 team kills or 5 minutes, no friendly fire. Bots fill the teams.
Ranked — search and destroy 5v5
Plant or defuse the bomb, one life per round, first to 13 rounds. Account required, from level 10 after 5 completed matches. Ranks from Bronze to Diamond, then Elite.
Training range
Solo on the “Firing range” map: fixed and moving targets, accuracy, damage and DPS, every weapon and attachment, unlimited grenades.
Hardcore option
For free-for-all and TDM: any hit kills and the HUD is minimal.
With friends
Rooms by code, open-room list, friends and party to join a match together, in-game chat.

- Arena (60 × 60 m, daytime): central platform, sniper towers and bunkers with accessible roofs.
- Depot (56 × 76 m, dusk): mezzanine hangar, central catwalk, containers and docks.
- Canal (64 × 56 m, overcast): central pit, bridges, houses and rooftop walkway.
- Outpost (132 × 84 m, desert): large 5v5 map with two bases, central hill and watchtowers.

In the Armory, up to 7 attachment slots unlock with level: sights (red dot, holographic, x2, x3, 1.5–6x variable scope), suppressor, compensator, grips, bipod, magazines, barrels and stocks.
Grenades: one frag and one tactical of your choice (smoke or flash), one of each per life.
Movement: sprint, jump, crouch, slide and lean left / right; damage depends on the hit zone (head, torso, arms, legs).

<strong>XP and levels:</strong> 100 XP per kill, +50 XP for a headshot, up to level 50. Daily and weekly challenges.

What is Arena War?

Which free FPS can I play in the browser with no download?
Arena War launches from arena-war.com in a modern WebGL-compatible browser — nothing to download or install. You can join as a guest by simply picking a display name.
Is Arena War free?
Yes. Purchases are optional: character and weapon skins, premium battle pass (€9.99) and VIP (€4.99/month, no commitment). They are cosmetic or XP bonuses — never a combat advantage.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
Nothing to install. Play as a guest; a free account saves XP, level (up to 50), unlocked items and unlocks Ranked. Guests do not earn XP.
What are the game modes?
Free-for-all (FFA, up to 8 players, 30 kills or 3 minutes), team deathmatch (TDM, up to 5v5, 60 kills or 5 minutes, no friendly fire), a Hardcore option (any hit kills, minimal HUD), Ranked (search and destroy 5v5) and the training range for solo practice.
How does Ranked work?
Ranked is search and destroy 5v5: one team plants the bomb, the other defends or defuses, one life per round. First to 13 rounds wins, with a side swap after round 12. Requires an account, level 10 and 5 completed matches. Ranks from Bronze to Diamond, then Elite.
How many weapons are there?
Eleven: pistol, assault rifle, shotgun, semi-auto sniper (DMR), bolt sniper, SMG, AK, burst rifle, LMG, revolver and knife. Attachments (sights, scopes, suppressor, grips, mags, barrels, stocks…) unlock by leveling and are fitted in the Armory.
Are there grenades?
Yes: one frag (G) and one tactical of your choice, smoke or flash (X), one of each per life.
Can I play with friends or against bots?
Yes. Create or join a room by code or from the open-room list; Friends & party lets you invite friends and join together. Bots fill rooms and teams; the training range is solo.
What device can I play on?
On PC, with keyboard and mouse, in a modern WebGL-compatible browser. Controls support AZERTY (ZQSD) and QWERTY (WASD).
What are the controls?
ZQSD or WASD to move, mouse to look, left click to fire, right click to ADS, Space to jump, Shift to sprint, C to crouch (slide while sprinting), A / E to lean (AZERTY), R to reload, 1–9, 0 or scroll to switch weapon, V for knife, G and X for grenades, Tab for scores.
Do purchases give an advantage?
No. Skins only change appearance and are visible to others. The battle pass and VIP add cosmetic rewards and XP bonuses, with no effect on damage or weapons.
What is the battle pass?
Season 1, “Front Line”, has 50 tiers with a free track and a premium track at €9.99: exclusive skins (Aurora, Eclipse, Season 1), the Scout character, titles and XP boosts. Progress by playing and completing daily/weekly challenges.
What is the VIP subscription?
VIP is €4.99 per month, no commitment: +25% account XP, a VIP badge next to your name and two exclusive animated weapon skins, VIP Prestige and VIP Golden glow, usable while subscribed.
