Cookies and local storage

What the site stores on your device

Arena War sets no cookies and uses no advertising or audience-measurement trackers. The game only uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) for the following:

• arena_token: session token, to stay signed in to your account (removed on sign-out).
• arena_settings: your settings (sensitivity, aim, display, skin quality, tactical grenade).
• arena_audio: your volume settings.
• arena_colorblind: the chosen colour-blind mode.
• room_opts: the last map, mode and bot count chosen.
• pending_skin: the item being purchased, to confirm delivery after payment return (removed immediately after).

Why no consent banner

These items are strictly necessary for the service you request (sign-in, payment) or store preferences you chose yourself. They are therefore exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines: no cookie banner is required. If consent-based trackers were added later, a banner would let you accept or refuse them.

Payment

During payment you are redirected to Stripe pages (checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com), which may set their own cookies necessary for payment security and fraud prevention: see Stripe's cookie policy.

Deleting this data

You can clear the site's local storage at any time in your browser settings (site data for arena-war.com). You will then be signed out and your settings will reset to defaults.
